Role Responsibility
Our client is a Middle East based Manufacturing and Engineering business providing precision engineered, high value capital equipment to a range of different industries. Following a 2 year period of exceptional and sustainable growth in revenue and order books they are preparing for further growth in 2009 despite the current global economic situation. The business historically has been a traditional manufacturing business without Lean/CI initiatives. A key objective for the business over the next three years is to achieve World Class Status and with the considerable growth experienced they require highly skilled individuals that can act as both facilitators and implementers of best practice manufacturing techniques and systems. Overall the successful candidate will be responsible for approximately 100 people who work across 5 departments across the company. As well as knowledge of the above, the ideal candidate will have worked within an organisation previously where Lean manufacturing principles were implemented and will be sensitive to and au fait with managing multi-cultural teams.

The Requirement
The successful candidate is likely to be from a “heavy engineering” background, with experience gained from within a hand assembly, fabrication, welding, pressing, CNC machining type environment.
