UNS N06059, Alloy 59, is a Ni-Cr-Mo alloy with a low carbon and silicon content. It's key characteristics are excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in reducing environments. Alloy 59 also exhibits high mechanical strength. Alloy 59 is a grade which was developed by ThyssenKrupp VDM.
