Water Hardening- the process whereby high-carbon steels are hardening, by immersion in water after heating.

Weld- the union between two materials formed by welding.

Weld Bead- filler metal deposited in a weld joint after a single welding pass.

 

 

 

 

Work Hardening- the strengthening of a material following plastic deformation.

Workability- the measure of the ability of a material to be easily formed and manipulated into desired shape
